The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) established the Seaport Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) vehicle for the award of multiple Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for a wide range of engineering, technical, and programmatic services and solutions for all Virtual Systems Command (SYSCOM) activities as well as others choosing to use Seaport-e. They include:

- Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP)
- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR)
- Military Sealift Command
- Strategic Systems Program (SSP)

- Office of Naval Research
- Commander, Naval Installations (CNI)
- Defense Threat Reduction (DTRA)
- U.S. Marine Corps
SeaPort-e supports the Navy's Seapower 21 objectives to increase efficiency and allows the tailoring services to meet the needs of geographically-dispersed organizations with significantly diverse product area requirements and missions. NSWC Dahlgren is the SeaPort-e Contracting Office however, each activity will release their own RFPs.
